LAPORTE, SULLIVAN COUNTY-It's wasn't a popular vote, but tonight, the Sullivan County School District decided to close the Turnpike Elementary School.

Several parents made their voices heard over the district's decision.
The board members cited low enrollment for one of the reasons to close the school.
The students will attend the Laporte Elementary School in the future.
The parents are upset over the decision.
