var images = new Array(); BRODHEADSVILLE, MONROE COUNTY - For people who sell sundaes and shakes, weather like Monday's is sweet. "We're very happy with days like this," said Lilly Dimarco. She and her husband own Lyn Dee's New York Style Italian Ice and Ice Cream in Brodheadsville.

Customers in line there Monday afternoon said there's just something about the sunshine and heat that makes them crave ice cream. Meldina Nikocevic explained, "When it's hot like this - it's like oh - ice cream! Dee's is the place to go and I go."

Lilly said, "This summer with all the rain it has affected our business but this is a perfect day."

The business needs days like Monday to shake things up because this summer's unusually dreary weather took a bite out of profits. Matthew Szarzynski said, "I honestly can't imagine a worse summer than this."

Lilly said when the sun does come out of hiding people feel they need to get out and do something summery. So her business booms. She laughed, "Days like this, these are perfect. We wish everyday was like this."
