EDWARDSVILLE, LUZERNE COUNTY- New developments in a stabbing incident involving a Wiilkes University assistant football coach.

47-year-old David Parrish was arrested Thursday evening on a number of charges including aggravated assault.

WBRE News was on the scene shortly after police say the Wilkes coach was stabbed when he caught a man trying to break into his car Wednesday Afternoon at Ralston Field in Edwardsville.

Parrish is behind bars and the coach is okay.
