The Susquehanna Riverwalk in Lycoming County has become quite a popular destination over the past few months. But people are being urged to avoid the trail over the next couple days. The entire north side of the riverwalk- closest to Williamsport- will be closed Thursday and Friday. PennDOT says repairs need to be made to some sections of pavement. The south side of the riverwalk- closest to South Williamsport- will remain open. PennDOT officials say the north side will be open over the weekend, and closed again Monday only if more work is required.
