SWEET VALLEY, LUZERNE COUNTY - One dog died in a barn fire overnight. It happened around midnight Friday at 66 Lamoreaux Rd. in Sweet Valley. That's just behind Mountain Fresh Market on Rt. 118. Crews say they put out the fire quickly. They got 8 horses out safely, but a dog could not escape. No one else was hurt. Crews believe a wood stove in the barn sparked the flames. | | |
