Pregnant women who need the swine flu vaccine will be able to get it Wednesday in Lackawanna County.

Clinics will be held be held in four places Wednesday afternoon. The sites include Physicians Health Alliance, the Maternal and Family Health Services, and the Scranton Primary Health Care. All of the clinics will be held from 5:00 until 7:00 P. M.

These swine flu clinics come after several others in Luzerne and Columbia counties. Another clinic has been added in Wilkes-Barre Thursday afternoon.

In Wayne County, some people will have to wait for their seasonal flu shots because of a shortage.

A clinic scheduled at the Senior Expo at Ladore Lodge in Waymart on October 29th has been canceled. The clinic at the Honesdale Senior Center on November 11th has also been cancelled.

If more vaccines become available, the clinics will be rescheduled. A limited number of shots will be available at the Northern Wayne Fire Department, Lakewood Clinic.
