PLAINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY -- Table game dealers had their first day of training at Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs. They’re vying for about 350 new jobs.
They're learning how to roll with games like craps, blackjack and roulette and become certified dealers.
Mike Bonavoglia from Dunmore said, "I'm going to be getting into a casino to make money rather than losing money. Gambling and doing the table games is a great thing."
Creating jobs for people like mike was the plan put on the table by Pennsylvania casino's.
Bob Soper, President of Mohegan Sun at Pocono Downs said, "Jobs was the focus and to actually see people in here and flipping chips and looking at the roulette wheel and the craps table really puts it all in perspective." | | |
