TAMAQUA, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY- A Tamaqua woman is facing arson charges in
connection with a fire at her home earlier this month.
Pennsylvania State Police arrested
46-year old Sue Ellen Smith and charged her with torching her home on Van Gelder Street on September 10th. The fire was the
third blaze at this residence. However, Smith has been only charged with the
one crime. Investigators said Smith started the blaze by setting fire to her
estranged husband's clothes.
She is now behind bars on
25-thousand dollars bail.
