WILLIAMSPORT, LYCOMING COUNTY-The topic was taxes in Williamsport Tuesday Night. Members of the community took part in a tax fairness forum at Penn College.

Issues discussed included local taxes and how they could be made more fair and how local leaders view taxes and the possibility of reform.

Lycoming County Commissioner, Rebecca Burk "This will be the first time that a local organization has put together an opportunity for residents to speak out, share their ideas, and learn about taxes in the commonwealth, where they originated, what the options are, and where they can go in the future."

Those taking part were also able to discuss tax matters in small groups and report to the forum as a whole.
