LEHMAN TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- A loud crowd greeted the school board meeting in Lake Lehman Monday night.

Teachers from Lake-Lehman were joined by other educators from across the region. Their fight to get a fair contract clashed with taxpayers.

The teachers gathered in force to hopefully bring an end to the on-going contract negotiations. The taxpayers believe the contract offers are fair.

The teachers union says the school board is misleading the public about healthcare costs. John Holland of the PSEA said, "We want to get this information out that the teachers are working three years without a contract and also the affordability of the contract."

The next bargaining session will be on October 30th.
