JIM THORPE, CARBON COUNTY- 17-year-old Carl Smith from Hazleton died at Lehigh Gorge State Park in Jim Thorpe.

Police say the teen jumped off a railroad bridge and disappeared into the Lehigh River. A dive team was called to the scene early Wednesday morning and recovered his body.

The teen was with 3 others at the time. The Carbon Couny Coroner says he believes the teen's death is accidental.
