POTTSVILLE, SCHUYLKILL COUNTY -- A Hazleton teen learned he'll spend the next 3 years in juvenile detention for his role in a crash that killed two people. Joseph Puglio was in Schuylkill County Court today.
Prosecutors say Puglio was driving at nearly 100 MPH when he smashed his car into a cement garage. That happened in Columbia County in September 2008.
Two of his passengers, Steven Geraci and Paul Penkala, were killed. Puglio is facing about three years in juvenile detention. He's 18 right now and will be released when he's 21.
Eyewitness News has a crew at the Schuylkill County Courthouse. We'll have reaction to the ruling tonight on Eyewitness News Live at 5. | |
