MESHOPPEN, WYOMING COUNTY -- A Wyoming County teenager is in the hospital after getting hit by a truck while on his bike.

It happened Saturday on Route 6 in Meshoppen. Police say a truck driven by Kenneth Kramer of Meshoppen veered off the road and into 14-year-old Michael Zajaczowski -- also of Meshoppen.

The teen was taken to Geisinger Medical Center where he is in serious condition.

Police say alcohol did not play a role in the crash and the investigation continues.
