POCONO TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY- Police in Monroe County are investigating a fatal car accident that took the life of a teenager.

18-year-old Amanda Gaston was driving on Interstate 80 just after 1:30 pm Wednesday when police said her car skidded off the road. The car hit several trees and flipped over.

Gaston was pronounced dead at the scene.
