WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY-Officers had been following up on several sightings of Henry Platt, just hours after he was named a suspect in an Exeter homicide. Eyewitness news followed police in their pursuit of Pratt throughout the evening. Earlier Tuesday, the D-A's office announced Platt was the prime suspect in an Exeter homicide from March.
Police said Platt's girlfriend Kimberly Burgess was bludgeoned to death with a bat.
Her body was found on a sidewalk.
Platt was taken into custody at 11:30 on Tuesday night. More on this developing story on Eyewitness News. | | |
