STROUD TWP., MONROE COUNTY- Police in the Poconos are looking for thieves who stolen nearly $50,000 worth of catalytic converters.

The crooks took them from SUV's at Ray Price Auto Dealership in Stroud Township on Sunday. Authorities are reviewing tape from surveillance cameras and say several leads have developed.

It's believed the thieves were not aiming to resell the auto parts, but recycle them. Some of the metal inside is valuable at scrap yards.
