Thousands Out of Work as Circuit City Stores Close - Sunday, March 8, 2009 at 6:54PM EST

WILKES-BARRE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- The doors are locked for good at local Circuit City stores.
The company filed for bankruptcy and closed more than 500 stores across the country Sunday. We found workers removing the store shelving from the Arena Hub location in Wilkes-Barre Township.

A hand-printed sign on the door read, "We is Done." Across the country more than 32,000 Circuit City employees have been let go.
