SCHUYLKILL COUNTY -- Two more men from Schuylkill County turned themselves into police as part of a recent arson investigation. This comes one day after another firefighter was charged.

Charles Ferguson, Jr. of Schuylkill Haven was charged with conspiracy to commit arson for a fire at 527 Greentree Drive in West Brunswick Township. The 19-year-old was a volunteer firefighter in Friedensburg.

A sixth person, and the only non-firefighter, charged in the arson spree is 21-year-old Devon Smith of Auburn. Investigators say he helped torch 51 Arrow Road in East Brunswick Township.

On Monday, 19-year-old Justin Geiger was charged with arson. He was an associate with the Deer Lake Volunteer Fire Department.

Three Friedensburg volunteer firefighters were charged in the same string of arsons last week -- they include Shawn Hoy, John Eichert, and Matthew Dixon.
