LUZERNE COUNTY - Democrat Senator Arlen Specter is facing the challenge of his political career against Representative Joe Sestak.

Specter's team spent the last couple days firing back at a Sestak campaign ad spotlighting Specter talking about his change from Republican to Democrat, that will, quote "enable me to get re-elected."

Specter's campaign reacted, with the entire soundbite, of Specter saying people have been saying that to him that they hope the switch will keep him in the U. S. Senate.

Specter, a five-term-Senator, made a campaign stop in Luzerne County Monday afternoon.

He says he's the Democrat's best chance to beat the Republican Candidate in November.
