LONG POND, MONROE COUNTY - If you're heading out to the Pocono 500 in Long Pond on Sunday afternoon, there are some important traffic reminders to keep in mind.
State Police plan to change traffic patterns on Route 115 near the Pocono International Raceway. Beginning at 7:00 AM, three of the four lanes will be used to get cars into the race. After the race is over, three lanes will be used to get people out.
People who don't plan on going to the race are urged to avoid Route 115 if possible. Interstate 80, as well as Routes 209, 940 and 903 will also see more traffic than normal. | | |
