PLAINS TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY -- People who'd like to get away from the cold got some expert advice on planning a getaway.
Hundreds checked out the AAA travel and savings expo at the Woodlands Inn and Resort in Plains Township. Travel experts offered deals on trips and advice on getting the most out of your vacation to spur bookings.
David Manzo of AAA said, ̉Business has been picking up and today we see it right now. All of our booking agents already have people in front of them talking about the great deals we're giving today. So hopefully we'll continue to see that improvement in the travel industry."
The Travel and Savings Expo offered deals like $5 passport photos as an added incentive. | | |
