WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Testimony will resume Thursday morning in the case of a trusted Red Cross volunteer accused of stealing relief supplies for flood victims.

Chris Panko of Luzerne Borough is charged with stealing two trucks loaded with disaster relief materials in July of 2006. He was a long-time volunteer with the American Red Cross.

A fellow volunteer testified Wednesday that Panko ordered someone to load the trucks but then had his own drivers pick them up.

The trial started Wednesday and is expected to last three days.
