WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- Jury selection is underway in the trial of a man accused of killing a neighbor's dog.

Arthur Menichini was walking his mother's dog Cocoa in Pittston Township last April. He says that's when a German Shepard named Keira attacked.

He said he had no choice but to shoot the dog because it was vicious. But Mary Ann Zelonis says her dog Keira wasn't vicious. She said cocoa would come after her.

Testimony in this trial should begin Thursday morning.
