GLENBURN TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY
Police are investigating the cause of a two vehicle crash that left a tri axle truck on its side in Ackerly Creek, Glenburn Township
The crash happened around 3 o'clock and involved a Budget rental van and the tri axle truck. It happened along Routes 6 and 11 at the intersection of Ackerly and Waverly Road.
Police say there did not appear to be any serious injuries. Traffic along Routes 6 and 11 was being delayed while emergency workers remained on the scene and clean up work began. Police say the tri axle truck was owned by Black Opal Landscaping Company of Susquehanna County. It was headed west on Routes 6 and 11. The rental van was traveling east and was apparently trying to cross the highway to enter Old State Road when the collision took place. | | |
