Two Dead After Restaurant Shooting Near Bloomsburg - Friday, May 22, 2009 at 6:45PM EST

BLOOMSBURG, COLUMBIA COUNTY- Eyewitness News has confirmed that two people have been shot and killed inside the Applebee's restaurant on Route 11 near Bloomsburg.
Police tell Eyewitness News that the alleged shooter is one of the two people confirmed dead. They say the public is in no danger. However they stopped short of saying that it was a murder-suicide. The Columbia County Coroner is on the scene.

Police say the shooting took place inside the restaurant just after 4:00 P. M., and other customers as well as workers witnessed the shooting.

Police also towed two vehicles from the restaurant's parking lot.
