CHERRY TOWNSHIP, SULLIVAN COUNTY- A reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest in a homicide from two decades ago.

Investigators said Alfred Beichler was found dead with a single gunshot wound back in December of 1987.

His body was discovered in an open field in Cherry Township.

Police found the murder weapon close to the body and his wrecked vehicle was discovered in Wyalusing Township but there are no other clues what happened more than 20 years ago.

Pennsylvania Crime Stoppers are now offering a $2,000 cash reward for information leading to an arrest.
