SCHUYLKILL COUNTY- 4 firefighters are recovering after being hurt at a commercial building fire in Schuylkill County.

The massive fire at Silberline Manufacturing started around noon Saturday. The business is located on Lincoln Drive in Tamaqua.

The firefighters are being treated for heat exhaustion. There’s no word yet on how the fire at Silberline started.

Meanwhile early Saturday morning a huge fire gutted the showroom and office of a business in Minersville.

Police evacuated people whose apartments were connected to the burning building. The fire destroyed Mr. D’s Interiors, Floors and Window Coverings on Route 901.

Witnesses say the flames shot 30-feet in the air, devouring the building. There’s no word yet on how that Schuylkill County fire started.
