DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A fire truck and a car collided in Lackawanna County sending two people to the hospital.

It happened around 8:00 Sunday night in Dunmore at Green Ridge and South Blakely Streets. A firefighter in the passenger seat of the fire truck and a woman driving the car were taken for treatment. The injuries are not considered serious.

Dunmore police say they'll file charges against the driver of the car for failing to yield to an emergency vehicle.
