HAZLE TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Two people are dead and another is hurt after a crash in Luzerne County.

The crash happened just before 12:30 this morning in Hazle Township along Airport Road near Route 309.

A Chevy Cavalier heading westbound lost control and collided with an oncoming Cadillac. The driver and passenger in the Chevy, Robert Correll and Cathy Radler, both from Hazleton, died at the scene.

The lone occupant of the Cadillac, Arthur Saccketti of Jeansville, was flown to Geisinger, Danville. There's no word on his condition.

State Police say both cars were driving too fast for conditions. The Airport Beltway was closed for two hours following this deadly Hazle Township crash.
