PENN FOREST TOWNSHIP, CARBON COUNTY - We now know the names of the two people who died after a crash Friday night in Carbon County.

The deadly accident happened on Route 903 in Penn Forest Township just before 7:00 PM. State Police say Dawn Varano of Albrightsville lost control of the Jeep she was driving, went off the road and rolled her vehicle over. Varano was flown to Saint Luke's Hospital, but later died. Her passenger, Douglas Paynkewicz of Jim Thorpe was also killed in the accident.

Troopers say both people were wearing seat belts at the time of the deadly accident in Carbon County.
