A nearly-empty industrial park in Union County could soon be home to a methadone clinic. Some county officials say the proposed clinic at Great Stream Commons could benefit the community. Methadone is a synthetic drug most commonly used to treat heroin addiction. Methadone patients in the Susquehanna Valley are currently taken by bus to Dauphin County for treatment. Supporters say a closer facility could help patients maintain employment. The methadone clinic will be discussed at tonight's supervisors meeting. That meeting starts at 7PM at the Gregg Township municipal building.
