SIMPSON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY - Neighbors of a Lackawanna County church are upset over a recent vandalism spree.

Holy Trinty Church in Simpson and a neighboring banquet hall have been damaged over the last two weeks.

Windows have been smashed and the inside of the church has also been damaged.

Holy Trinty has been closed for several years. Neighbors are asking state police to add patrols in the area to catch those responsible.

"It's sacri-religious. I mean, there's no need for it. It's just a shame," neighbor T. J. Vandermark said.

Neighbors think young kids may be responsible for all the damage.
