WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- Fire at a Wilkes-Barre gas station could have turned out a whole lot worse.

The driver of a DirecTV van was fueling up around 6:00 A. M. at the A-Plus on Academy Street.

He noticed gas pouring from the bottom of the van. He tried to pull away when the van caught fire.

No one was hurt.
