HAWLEY, WAYNE COUNTY Over 100 motorcycles roared into Hawley early Thursday evening -- riding in honor alongside a replica of the Vietnam Memorial Wall. A wall that is an 80 percent size replica of the Vietnam Memorial in Washington - it's due to be set up Thursday morning in Bingham Park. As part of several days of festivities...
Jim English of American Legion Post 807 told Eyewitness News "We're to start assembling the wall in the morning at 7. And then at 11 veterans arrive- then midnight to 7 we'll do security and we'll do that all week...

The events honoring Vietnam Veterans over the next few days are expected to bring visitors into Hawley - and expectations are high...

Tammy Hardler is on the Tour of Honor Committee, "We're talking thousands. Were expecting a lot. Events start at noon tomorrow going until Monday Moring at 7
The wall is open 24 hours so people can come at 2 in the morning 4 in the morning the wall's open 24 hours."
"It means were not forgotten." says Frank Sampson, Marine and Vietnam Veteran, "Ya know regardless of happened here..people in in the states realize what we did for our country and the people that were lost during that time."
