SPRING BROOK TOWNSHIP, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- A man involved in a hit and run in Wednesday morning has died.

Matthew Garofalo of Lake Ariel died today at CMC in Scranton.

Garofalo's car was hit by a pick-up truck.

Police say the truck was driven by Alfred Atsus, Moscow.

Police say Atsus ran a red light at the intersection of Routes 307 and 690 in Spring Brook Township.

He then took off.

Police arrested Atsus Wednesday.
