Viewers Step Forward to Help J.P.L. Victim

Viewers Step Forward to Help J.P.L. Victim - Tuesday, April 7, 2009 at 5:10PM EST

KINGSTON, LUZERNE COUNTY- And an update now on the I-Team investigation into the Luzerne County investment firm J. P.L. Financial, in Kingston.
The U. S Postal Service confirms they are now handling the investigation into J. P.L and its owner, James P. Lake.

Clients have come froth claiming they are not getting answers about the money they gave Lake. Lake's office in Kingston is closed and he has not been seen.

One of those customers, Dave from Kingston, says he lost $11,000 that was supposed to be used for the care of his sick 19-month-old little girl.

Tuesday the I-Team was contacted by a law firm that wants to help Dave, free of charge, recoup that money. And several other viewers say they want to help raise money to pay for the healthcare of Dave's daughter.

We 'll have their stories in the days ahead. As for Mr. Lake, we have still been unable to reach him.
