POCONO TOWNSHIP, MONROE COUNTY - Robbers broke into ah ome and tied up the homeowner in the Poconos. A six year old was in the house when it happened. The house is located in Pocono Township, Monroe County.

Three robbers broke the usual silence in the upscale Tara Hills Estates Community. Pocono Township Police Officer Jack Manuel said, "I don't feel at this point that the neighborhood is being targeted. I just think that this was a random act of violence."

It started as a typical Tuesday night. Around 7:30 a young man took out the trash but when he turned to go back in the house he was shocked. Manuel explained, "His father was yelling, there was some thumping going on, his little sister was crying."

According to arrest papers the robbers busted into the house and pointed a gun at the home owner. They pushed him to the ground - then bound his hands, face and eyes with duct tape. "They continued to ransack his home looking for what we believe is cash," said Manuel.

The young man called police who surrounded the house. One of the suspects came out. he is Teo Bui of Philadelphia. The other suspects drove off in a tan or brown mini van. Police said Bui is not being cooperative and own't tell them much about the men on the run. Manuel said, "He met these guys on the streets of Philly and said that they could take him and do a job and that's how they ended up in the Poconos."

Eyewittness News spoke to many people who live in the development. They said they're not scared. Many think the robbers somehow knew the victim. Neighbor Tom Craig said, The man owned business - maybe nail salons - and maybe somebody said something to somebody - that's how it came about."

When police caught Bui they said he had many suspicious items on him. They include a check written to the victim's nail salon, jewelry and more than $7,000.

Despite the crime police say neighbors shouldn't panic. Manuel said, "I don't believe they should be concerned."

The remaining two suspects may be Vietnamese. They're between 35 and 40 years old and may be armed and dangerous. Officers believe they may have headed back toward the Philadelphia area.
