JERSEY SHORE- The Jersey Shore School district is hoping to lure students back into the class room.
This year alone, 67 students left the district to attend a charter or cyber school .and that cost the district thousands of dollars.
So officials at Jersey Shore are looking into the possibility of starting their own virtual school, through some combination of online and in-class instruction
The Jersey Shore Area School board must give their consent before any plans for the cyber charter school can progress.
If approved, the proposed jersey shore virtual school could be up and running in two years.
