Voter Turnout Sparse in Lycoming County
Voter Turnout Sparse in Lycoming County - Tuesday, May 18, 2010 at 04:14AM EST

Tuesday May 18 2010
All reports indicate an extremely quiet day at the polls in Lycoming County Tuesday.
Eyewitness News visited the polling place in the former Annunciation Church Parish in Williamsport, where two voting wards are combined.
But there wasn't much to see in terms of turnout for this primary election.
Only about 150 out of more than 1,700 registered voters had filled out their ballots by lunch time.
The race for the Republican nomination in the 10th Congressional District has drawn the most interest here.
In it, Republicans Tom Marino, Dave Madeira, and Malcolm Derk are vying for the chance to try to unseat three-term Democratic Congressman Chris Carney. | |
