WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- Wilkes-Barre police are investigating an attempted car jacking Monday night.

Reports indicate someone tried to steal a car from a driver at gunpoint. Police confiscated a Dodge Durango on Welles Street as part of their investigation.

Detectives will only say they are talking to a victim.
