Kingston, Luzerne County -
The turf was dropped off at Spartans Stadium today and the instillation begins tomorrow. It's all part of a 2.5 million dollar renovation project paid for by the state. A second phase of the project includes renovating the bleachers and the surrounding area by the stadium. The soccer and field hockey teams will also utilize the turf field. If all goes well the football team will take to the turf for the first home game August 29th against Scranton. | | |
