DUNMORE, LACKAWANNA COUNTY- The Dunmore Borough council is looking for two new members.

Last week two councilmen resigned after a federal court ruled they must pay Assistant Fire Chief Robert Dee, one thousand dollars in punitive damages, out of their own pockets
The ruling stems from a 2005 lawsuit.
The borough is also facing some very tough financial times.
Tonight the council said they're accepting applications for the positions
Applications will be accepted until 4 p. m. Friday. Borough council hopes to have the new members selected and ready to be sworn in by their next meeting.
