SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY -- A local radio personality will be allowed to use his on-air name at a rival radio station.

A Lackawanna County judge made the ruling Saturday concerning John Webster -- whose real name is john gasper.

He co-hosted Rock 107's Daniels and Webster morning show from 1985 until he suddenly resigned March 30th.

Rock 107 wanted to stop Webster from using his radio name when he starts his new job Monday as co-host of the WILK morning news talk program with Nancy Kman.

Although he can continue to use the name -- Webster cannot use any of the characters or comedic material he created at Rock 107.
