SCRANTON, LACKAWANNA COUNTY --Attorney General Tom Corbett filed a consumer protection lawsuit against Scranton photographer Brian Davies and his business, Images by Brian Davies. He’s accused of accepting payment for wedding photographs, albums, videos, and high school photos and failing to provide them to customers.

The I-Team first told you about Davies last week in an Eyewitness News exclusive report. In fact, Davies even admitted to Eyewitness News that he owes wedding albums to 30 couples. The attorney general's office filed a consumer protection suit against Brian Davies. A judge has also frozen his assets and is forcing him to turn over all photos within two days. They're developments his victims have been waiting for.

“I'm really happy that something's being done and I'm thankful that WBRE could show this." Darice Aldrich is one of a dozen angry brides who contacted WBRE after seeing our story about their wedding photographer last week.

"I was the king of Scranton for a long time," said Davies in an interview last week. But Brian Davies' business went bust. And he stopped delivering albums to paid customers. "I lost sleep over it. I cried over it. It was really hard," says Aldrich.

“We took this special action because of the nature of the items for families," says Brian Nixon of the Attorney General's office. He says 35 customers have filed complaints. He says an injunction has frozen Davies’ assets and requires that he turn over all photos by Sunday. How much customers will be paid back is up to the court.

Davies admitted that he’s broke," But getting any money from Davies may be tough. He declared bankruptcy. And is house is being foreclosed on. No one answered his door Friday. "Where's the money? There's hundreds of thousands of dollars is gone."

Investigators says if this case goes to trial, they just may use video of Davies interview with WBRE in court. "He's basically admitting that he's let those people down to put it mildly."
