JACKSON TWP., LUZERNE COUNTY- Murder could not stop a wedding Saturday.

Police say 72-year-old George "Bill" Carson shot his stepson, Kevin Sult, multiple times. The murder happened in a party tent at the family home on Fairfield Road in Jackson Township, Thursday. The family was preparing for a wedding Saturday.

As the couple wed Saturday, the coroner confirmed the groom’s brother died of multiple gun shots.

Police say Carson shot Sult after he threw scissors during the morning and later threw a beer in his face.
