HAZLETON, LUZERNE COUNTY -- The Hazleton area was pounded with this winter storm. Well over a foot of snow fell. While many people didn't have to head out to school or work, some of them still spent the day working with shovels in hand.

Tyler Farley had the day off of school. But the Hazleton Area 9th grader -- was still hard at work.

For Thomas Urban -- this isn't work. "I know a lot of people might say they're very upset about it, but I enjoy it so much, so that's why I have the snowblower and go out and play in the snow."

These kids played in the snow near Heights-Terrace Elementary. Tyler Mariano said, ÒWe're out here sledding and snowboarding and having a good time."

Visibility was low near Columbus Park. Even Christopher himself had to take a closer look.

Drivers had a tough time maneuvering the streets of Hazleton. So did shovelers -- trying to dig out around their cars.

Tom Tarselli was at it for more than an hour when we talked to him. "I kind of like the snow in the winter time, but it's starting to get to be too much right now. I wish it would stop.Ó

But you won't hear Thomas Urban complain. "Actually, I love it. I love it when it snows," he said.
