BUCKHORN, COLUMBIA COUNTY- A unique program is on track at the Columbia Mall. any people are checking out an impressive model train display.
The trains are under the care of the Program. The program encourages disabled and wheelchair bound children and adults to help operate the trains and help keep them running.
Those involved say its a wonderful experience. Bob Bombay organizes the program. He told Eyewitness News he believes this is the only program of its kind in the Commonwealth.
Many of the participant's family members say its a great way to them to interact and have a lot of fun.
The train program is open every Monday at the Columbia Mall And you are all invited to stop by and check it out. | | |
