WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY- Wilkes-Barre police say two people walking down a street were jumped and beat up. It happened at the intersection of East Northampton and Hancock Streets in the city around 8:00 Tuesday evening.
Police say the unidentified man and woman who were attacked were not robbed. They were taken to Wilkes-Barre General Hospital to be checked out.
At last check police had no one in custody.
