WILKES-BARRE, LUZERNE COUNTY -- Eight people are without a place to stay after another Luzerne County fire.
Fire crews got the call to Monroe Street in Wilkes-Barre Saturday morning. Flames sparked just before noon at this house in the city.
The Shaffer family lives there -- two adults and six kids were forced out of their home. The house has heavy smoke and water damage. We're told a pet iguana was killed during the fire.
The cause is under investigation -- but officials say it doesn't look suspicious.
