One man is injured after being shot with his own gun in a Wilkes-Barre home invasion.
Police say it happened at a home on West Chestnut Street around 11 Saturday night.
That's where police say the victim, armed with a gun, went to check a noise outside his home.
Then authorities say another man attacked him from behind before the gun went off hitting the victim in the leg.
He was taken to a local hospital and police say his injuries don't appear to be life threatening.
The suspect took off and hasn't been seen since.
